Description

Halo Bowl is a hand-finished footed bowl in solid travertine, designed by AORI Copenhagen. Each piece of travertine is unique, with natural pores, veining and colour variations – part of the character of the stone, never a flaw. Suitable for fruit, bread and dry foods; avoid acidic liquids in direct contact with the stone.

The Halo Bowl is the natural gathering point — the place on the table where the eye comes to rest. Carved from a single block of travertine and raised on a low, solid foot, the bowl balances between the raw and the refined. The stone’s open pores speak of millennia of patience, while the wide, curved silhouette holds everything from walnuts and citrus fruit to nothing at all.

Because that is precisely the beauty of the Halo Bowl: it doesn’t need to be filled to fill a room. Empty, it catches the light. Filled, it gathers the table. Always quiet. Always present.

If you prefer a bowl with a softer, more organic expression, meet Contour Bowl — carved in silver grey travertine.

All products are depicted from the physical objects. Some environment imagery is digitally visualised.

Care

Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry off afterwards. Avoid acidic products — citrus, wine and vinegar can etch the surface of natural stone.

Travertine is a natural limestone formed over thousands of years, as mineral-rich spring water deposits calcium layer by layer. The small pores and colour variations are a natural part of the material — no two pieces are identical. The stone develops a beautiful patina over time.

Avoid prolonged moisture and do not use abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals.
