Why natural stone ages beautifully
Natural stone keeps living. Where many materials wear down, travertine and marble develop a patina — a gentle ageing that makes each piece more beautiful over time.
Small marks and shifts in tone aren’t flaws, but traces of time and hand.
Patina is not wear — it is history. The surface of the limestone slowly absorbs the traces of everyday life and deepens in tone, year by year. That is why we never treat the stone with lacquer or artificial sealants: it should be allowed to live.
