Description
Ripple Tray is a sculptural tray in solid travertine, designed by AORI Copenhagen. Each piece of travertine is unique, with natural pores, veining and colour variations – part of the character of the stone, never a flaw. The surface is suitable for dry foods, but direct contact with acidic liquids such as citrus and wine should be avoided.
Run your fingers across the surface. Feel the ridges – soft, concentric semicircles carved into solid travertine, like rings in still water. Ripple Tray is equal parts sculpture and function; a tray resting on four low feet, transforming even the most everyday corner into a calm focal point.
Use it for candles on a dark evening, for perfume bottles in the bathroom – or let it stand alone, where the stone’s natural interplay of light and shadow is allowed to come forward. The sculptural ripple pattern catches the shifting light of the day, giving the tray a living, almost meditative expression.
To gather the table around a bowl in the same stone, meet Halo Bowl — raised on a low foot.
All products are depicted from the physical objects. Some environment imagery is digitally visualised.

Care
Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry off afterwards. Avoid acidic products — citrus, wine and vinegar can etch the surface of natural stone.
Travertine is a natural limestone formed over thousands of years, as mineral-rich spring water deposits calcium layer by layer. The small pores and colour variations are a natural part of the material — no two pieces are identical. The stone develops a beautiful patina over time.
Avoid prolonged moisture and do not use abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals.
